5 bathrooms straight out of a home-décor magazine spread
Bathroom interiors have been trending more and more these days. With the advent of newer water conserving technologies and beautiful materials, designers have taken bathroom interior a notch up. So even when the space is small, you can definitely get your picture perfect bathroom worthy of being featured in a magazine spread. Today, we will be looking at a few bathroom designs that have been crafted so beautifully and elegantly, they might as well be straight out of a home-décor magazine.
- Using browns and golds
Brown is an extremely elegant color, but it can also seem a little bit drab, especially if you’re using it in a singular format. However, if you can figure out the right accents to your brown color scheme, then it can definitely come out as pretty glamorous. The bathroom interior in the image below is done in a majority of browns, but the texture ensures that it doesn’t come off a dreary or monotonous. To add a little glamour to the overall interior, the designers have accented it with the gold under-cabinet lighting. When combined, all of these features come off as extremely trendy but also sophisticated.
- The outdoor vanity trend
One of the hottest trends these days is putting your vanity as a decorative object outside of the bathroom. The purpose of this trend is truly aesthetics related. As you can see in the image below, the vanity then becomes a small part of an open interior that may or may not include the kitchen space, the laundry and a small part of the bathroom itself. Note that this trend is an acquired taste and is not attractive to everybody.
- The shabby chic bath
The shabby chic aesthetic is all about distressed wood and earthy colors done right. The bathroom below is so in-touch with its shabby-chic design that it positively exudes an elegant but rustic aura. The dark colors combined with the sophisticated texture and material palate make for a truly excellent design.
- On with the gloss
The image below showcases a bathroom design that features one of the best contemporary aesthetic ever. The stand-out feature of this particular bathroom is that the designers have not been afraid to use glossy finished tiles. Add to that the clunky modern fixtures and you’ve got yourself a contemporary masterpiece.
- Bringing on a little classic
You may feel like bringing a traditional touch to your bathroom interior may be going a little bit overboard, but as you can see in the image below, it can be done in an elegant way. The designers have used relatable patterns in the tiles and creative lighting mechanisms to add that dash of traditional to the otherwise modern feel of the bathroom.
