6 interiors with inspiringly contemporary designs

Contemporary design features bold design ideas that are innovative and fashionable at once. Today we will feature six interiors with inspiringly contemporary designs.

  1. The sliding bath door phenomenon

Bathrooms are usually relegated an extremely private space within the anatomy of a house design. It is because these are considered the most private of spaces and conjoining them with the rest of the house template is simply undesirable at best, and unethical at worst. So a bathroom design is isolated and cannot seem luxurious enough even when it is relegated a world of its own. So this contemporary bedroom design is especially refreshing, because not only does it welcome a more curiously designed bathroom, but it merges it exceptionally well within the interior of its room. For this interior especially, the bathroom is an extension of the bed itself – with the sliding door acting as a transparent fail safe barrier between both rooms.

  1. Transparency

Transparent furniture a la acrylic and plastic is one of the more modern advents of contemporary nature. They provide much needed contrast in otherwise modernized settings and can be a bit static in nature.

  1. Triangular

Contemporary interiors are usually designed in a funkier, retro mix, and that is exactly what this open style living room is; a combination of contemporary aesthetics, merged with an avant-garde interior scheme and a fun color palate make for an interesting interior design.

  1. Mid-century modern

Open chef kitchens are a rarity in the usual residential kitchen book, but this interior has been fully designed and carried out in an exceptional way in a totally residential setting. The brick layering, combined with the dim gold restaurant ambiance is just the cherry on top.

  1. Twister

The unadorned twisting features of this interiors false ceiling create a rather tornado like effect – as if the portal to a new dimension is being opened right in the middle of the room. It is an interesting venture in ceiling design; one that would hardly work in a small space – but the designers have proportioned it well enough to accommodate the integrity of the interior.

  1. The mirrored green space debacle

While green interiors are slowly but surely becoming all the rage these days, they are still far and few in between. This interior makes the best of its contemporary interior setting by playing on two very veritable concepts – looking mirrors and greenery. Although this is a small dining space, the looking mirror mirage manages to make it seem double than its original capacity. Add to that the shades of green and you’ve got yourself a masterpiece. The row of plants on the periphery create a firm barrier from the rest of the space while outlining the boundary of this exemplary dining space.
