Barbie – Be whoever you want
Lately, Mattel has started a new campaign for the Barbie doll product range, and though executed brilliantly by the young artists, it is the heart of the matter, the concept behind the entire revamped brand image that never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face. Four little girls are introduced to the camera, and act out their dream jobs in front of a live audience. We have a little science professor who talks about the ‘dog brain’, an aspiring Veterinarian who boldly announces that her cat can ‘fly’, a future business woman who’s just come down from an hours long flight and is talking about her successes on the phone, and a football coach leading a team of brawny men to do full scale exercises on the field. In the end, we cut to how the audience is actually a layarm of redundant Barbie’s, and how the little girls could expand their world by just playing with one – an interesting idea on a whole, with an exemplary execution to boot. The core idea is to be whoever we want to be, and taking inspiration from that, today we’ll be looking at a list of interiors that relate to certain professions.
Any respectable product designer would affirm their designated creativity in the space that they inhabit. This simple, yet sophisticated interior is a holding ground for tiny trinkets and baubles, along with a few bigger ones – both in the form of creative artwork forms – and would be the perfect studio style home for any product designer.
Graphic designers are all about carticated representation and infographics, and this space does just that by incorporating the digital art style on its product design. There is a neatly sophisticated vibe to the overall ambiance of this space that would definitely inspire any designer.
Entrepreneurship is all about sleek compartmentalization, and this style of interior space is a winner when it comes to instigating boundaries via material and color formations. Overall, the style is well implemented and would definitely appeal to a business mind.
Doctors tend to have a unique taste and sensibilities along with a keen eye – be it for a small artery while operating, or a blip in design. This rustic come contemporary interior is meticulous enough to cater to even the most nitpicky of a doctor and their immaculate sense of style.
Architects are a creature of building design, so it only right that they live in a space that is both glamorous as well as individualistic in design. The interior below uses the perfect blend of sleek modern and careful organic and the overall design would appeal to any likeminded architect beautifully.
