Bedrooms – The Glad Rags of Modern Design
Among all public, semi private and private zones of a home, a bedroom is perhaps the most private of them all. Not only does it contain the delicacies of our everyday lives, it is where we let loose and relax from the tough routine of particularly winding days. There is a reason why it is hard to fall asleep anywhere but our own beds – it is because we crave for the familiarity of our surroundings, the homeliness of our environ that lets our home be our ‘home.’ Out of all the spaces in a house, the bedroom is the core of everything that defines the term home. It is our private place, and our sanctuary, so it is only a given that we design these sanctuaries in the best of ways. In that respect, we would be taking a look at some of the most beautiful and exemplified bedroom designs today.
The Comely Attic Theme
This particular bedroom is the pinnacle of cozy intimacy – and not in the usual rustic of ways. It uses a totally contemporary theme and cozies it up with a personal flair and a dash of color. The attic style ceiling with a corner twin bed and book case flush with the wall all combine together to create that perfectly synthetic homely vibe. The stuffed toy collection is the cherry on top. It is all the little things that come together to create something extraordinary in this particular bedroom design.
The Minimalist Modern Affair
This bedroom design is a stark contrast to the one above. Where that was built around the notion of a personal flair, this one is a nod to a stark sort of austerity. The clean lines create sharp edges and the theme convenes with a touch of simplistic minimalism.
An Elegant Sophistication
This contemporary bedroom embraces an earthy theme, but does not shy away from just a bit of classic. The overall aesthetic is quite pleasing, with the just the right amount of warm to cool. The amalgamation of natural light with the rest of the scheme takes away a bit of the sturdy solidness, and adds a breezy vibe to the mix.
If you appreciate a bedroom with infinite views of the outside, then this one is probably for you. The corner window aesthetic is a hard one to pull off, but this design has taken a small space and combined it with a midcentury style amalgamation with the outdoors – a perfect synthesis.
One of the most distinguished characteristics of the minimal style is a sturdy sort of grounded-ness that appeals the peace of mind. This bedroom however, has approached a minimalistic dynamic with a breezy sort of lightness courtesy of the light color scheme. The end product is definitely admirable, though.
