Forefront Interior

This being our 1st home renovation, we were careful and met with 7 different IDs before eventually choosing Vic Tan from Forefront Interior.

From our very 1st session with Vic on Zoom, we were impressed by his attention to our lifestyle needs, and his positive attitude to lead the process. Throughout the 3+ months of reno process, Vic provided clear communication, and was responsive to our queries even on nights and weekends.

Our design was contemporary, scandi, minimalist, and his advised layout and design met our required themes while being practical for our daily living and routines. For instance, Vic advised a shift of our master bedroom door to unlock more space for our main wardrobe, which we eventually did (of all the IDs we met, he was the only ID who gave this idea). He was also very clear in marking out design and layouts on paper / photos to minimise ambiguity.

During our tiles selection at the tile shop, Vic accompanied us patiently and gave us helpful advice for tiles in the various rooms.

We are pleasantly surprised by the worksmanship and quality of materials used by the carpenter and plumber (sub-contractors used by Forefront).

Kudos also to onsite manager Jack, who oversaw the site matters and coordinated very well with Vic throughout. Jack also helped us solve several of our on site issues.

Completion was punctual and handed over on schedule. Cleaning was done well (about 90% full clean which is expected), with some own cleaning to be done after that. Vic and Jack also coordinated with contractors to come again for touch ups.

Overall, the end result for our new home exceeded our expectations. Vic and Jack are experienced and passionate and did a good job. We highly recommend them to friends and family, and would choose them again for any future home renovation.

Having heard horror stories on others’ renovation journeys, we embarked on ours being skeptical. Wen da and team won us over with their sincerity and fresh ideas at our first two meetings. They do not use standard templates just like other ids. They made a point to understand our lifestyle and daily needs, and provided their professional advice. Wen da is able to propose creative solutions to meet our needs. They are responsive throughout the process even after the handover. These include the touch ups and minor rectifications.

Wen da and team are extremely patient with our queries, and accommodating to the changes and rectifications we requested.

We went to about 6-7 ID firms. Almost all did not get what we really wanted until we met Kayla from Forefront int. Her proposals from the rough sketch, to the 3D and material suggestion were actually all spot on! Mood board etc all prepared by 2nd meeting and it hit 99% of what we had in mind ( all these even before we sign any agreement)

Reno started and Weeks went by without any hiccups. Rectifications were handled timely. Kayla even made sure all is good weeks after reno. As a first time house owners, we couldnt have asked for more. It was a pleasure working with Kayla and i would really rec Forefront interior for their Sincere, fast and quality work. 5 Stars from us!

Worked with Eadwine from forefront interior. It was a breeze and I enjoyed the whole process. He was a good listener and designed my place based on our lifestyle. He was efficient and there was no delay in the process. We ended up finishing the renovation much earlier than expected!

We chanced upon Forefront Interior while surfing Qanvast. Our ID was Eadwine. He has been very detailed and meticulous throughout the whole renovation process. He also takes the initiative to keep us updated every step of the process. Eadwine was different from other IDs that we met. In our very first meeting, he took the time to understand our lifestyles and hobbies, and personal habits. We only told him briefly the kind of style/design we were interested in. In the subsequent meetings, we were greeted with a pleasant surprise when Eadwine showed us the mood board and drawings of the house layout. Everything was thoughtfully planned based on our habits.

Though there were some minor hiccups along the way, Eadwine tried to deliver the best that he could and we were very pleased with the result, both design and quality of work. And even after the handover, Eadwine was still very helpful in helping us to rectify some of the minor issues promptly.

Overall experience with Eadwine was a pleasant one and we will recommend him if anyone is looking to renovate their home!

My wife and I first met Vic at the Home by Hitched event at Justco, Marina Square. Even though it was a brief discussion about our desired layout, lifestyle and habits, we felt that there was a “connection” between us and Vic right from the start. We knew right away that Vic understood our requirements when he presented his mood board as it checks all the boxes we have in our mind.

Furthermore, Vic also provided sound and practical advice on our wants and needs to keep our budget in check. After meeting and speaking to more than 10 different IDs, Vic left a deep impression in us as we felt he is the ID whom we can entrust to design and build our first home. It was simply love at first sight when Vic presented the 3D drawings of our home.

We met our Project Manager, Jack, during the renovation phase of our home. We have heard horror stories of IDs going MIA during the renovation phase. Thankfully, Vic and Jack were complete opposite of that. Not only did they give regular updates to our home’s renovation progress, we were also able to contact them at any time of the day to discuss on certain issues. Both Vic and Jack were very responsive to our queries and feedback which was something we truly appreciate.

As per any other renovation, our journey was not completely smooth sailing as we did meet some hiccup along the way. However, what made the difference was Vic’s and Jack’s priority and willingness to resolve any matter on hand together with us instead of shirking responsibility or brushing us off. What made it even better is that Vic and Jack would always seek our advice and take time to explain the rationale to us whenever a certain change has to be made. In addition, Vic and Jack were very willing to coordinate and work with our 3rd party vendors.

It really gave us great comfort to know that we can entrust our home to Vic and Jack as they were always willing to go an extra mile for us to ensure all works are on schedule. Exceeding all our expectations, the renovation of our home completed ahead of time.

My wife and I would really like to sincerely thank Vic and Jack for pouring their time, effort and energy into building our home. Our friends and family have been singing praises for our beautiful home as well. Now that we have moved in, we are very appreciative and thankful for all they have done. They have exceeded all our expectations and even remained contactable to schedule any minor rectification works.

Thus, we would like to recommend Forefront Interior’s Vic and Jack to any prospective homeowners who are looking to renovate their home. They have a flair for interior design and a keen eye for details. They are truly impressive. 5 STARS!!

Our dream home was bought to us by Shaphine, despite meeting with well over 10 ID from different firms, my wife and I chose to go with Shaphine as she was able to give us what we wanted instead of telling us that it can’t be done or asking us to take their idea instead. My wife had a vision of how she wanted our first home to look like and Shaphine was able to delivery her vision into reality. Our home was delivered to us as promise when we sign on with them, despite all the problems and hiccups she face along the way from having to change certain designs as we couldn’t get the required permits, facing space restrictions and adding of other storage space. Shaphine was fully able to deliver all within our budget as well.

We met the team in late July 2020. Firstly, their office looked amazinggg!

Signed on our second meet because we felt very comfortable and confident in their design and efficiency. I must say Joey has an eye for aesthetics.

They are able to understand our needs and think of practical placements of our bed and wardrobe (kudos to them because no other friends/IDs have suggested this before). Although our budget were on the lower side, it is well followed. When doing up the contract, they would typically add all the “wants and needs” costs, then, they will sit down with you to go through every item and see your priorities and if you want to remove them to keep within your budget. (I think only the electrical work is not priced in their contract)

My partner and I were flexible with the completion deadline as there was no rush, keeping in mind the Covid situation. Despite that, Jing Long and Joey are still very efficient in the process.

Jing Long did an extremely good job keeping us updated with videos and pictures for every installation work, giving a weekly brief on the upcoming works, which made us feel very safe with the house in their hands. He coordinated the project really well.

The whole reno process from hacking only took close to 2 months, much shorter than the 3 months we expected.

We had a last minute addition of the DB box mirrored doors, and the team got it fabricated, shipped, installed in 4 days! Very shocked when we saw the doors. Super impressive.

Communication was fairly easy with them. WhatsApp replies were prompt. Issues were raised directly to us and they were very upfront and straightforward in terms of pricing and what can or cannot be done.

Their experience in design also helped save time during our tile/laminate/paint/vinyl selection process, they would pull out certain colors/pattern that suited the house theme so that we don’t need to scan through the whole shop. They’re also really patient when we took a long time deciding between the choices.

In the end, we also got light and curtains contact from them because there’s just a lot of trust.

I think the most outstanding part was there is transparency in the process, their expertise helped to ease the whole reno. Very smooth journey and we only visited our place ~5 times till completion.
