If you are  a person who enjoys decorating your home with nature. Let’s make it work together. From small indoor plants to outdoor plants everyone can be a part of your family. But plants are very fragile to care of, especially if kept indoors. What is a better way to do it by bringing nature into your home?

Here are some ways to design your home around nature.

1. Balcony into a Mini-Nursery

If you want to go all the way, you can turn your balcony or terrace into a mini nursery. Plants like Aglaonema, Velvet palm, Portulaca, Eranthemum, Bougainvillea, Ixora, Hibiscus, etc are some plants that you can use in your balcony. Most of these plants are easy to grow and take just the right amount of care to thrive. When they bloom, they look astonishingly beautiful.

2. Indoor plants

Now the challenging part is indoor plants. Indoor plants look very aesthetic. But it is hard to keep them alive inside. The reason being that it is hard to find natural sunlight inside the house, also some other factors like temperature, etc.

You can put indoor plants in any room, bedroom, bathroom, or living room, on stairs. One thing to keep in mind is that plants must get a decent amount of natural light.

Air Purifying plants are best for home decor. They’ll not only design your home but also help in keeping a healthy environment.

Money plant, Jade plant, Corton, Monsters, Snake plant, Bamboo plant, Rubber plant are common indoor plants, they are also good air-purifying plants.

3. Kitchen

Like any other room, one can grow plants in the kitchen as well. It is ideal to grow herbs and other edible plants in the kitchen.

If your kitchen has natural sunlight then you can grow herbs like Thyme, Cilantro, Oregano, Mint, Rosemary, parsley, and more. All these herbs are commonly used in cooking. Growing plants in your kitchen will give it a pump of green colour which will look good with the interiors.

Plus, the scent of these herbs will give a distinct aroma to your kitchen.

Besides herbs, any indoor plant can grow in the kitchen.

4. Wooden Furniture

Another way to accumulate nature in your home is wooden furniture and wooden furnishing. The aesthetic of wooden furnishing is very familiar in Interior designing. It just stands out alone. This gives your home vintage, earthy and calming vibes. Collaboration of wooden furnishing or furniture with houseplants will be an alpha move to make in your home decor.

5. The wall of plants

Hang plants on the wall as wall art. You can also get a whole plant wall, which is also easy to maintain.

It is a simple but decoratively pleasing concept. Hanging plants like Portulaca and more put some extra light on your decor.

6. Something Extra

If you are a person who likes to be EXTRA, you can use fake plants as home decor. With fake plants, you don’t even have to worry about their maintenance and they will do their work. There are fake plants that look identical to natural plants, so they won’t even look cheap.

Wooden art pieces are another way to decorate your home with nature. Landscape paintings, environmental art, etc. bring extra hints of nature in home decor. All these concepts are easy to replicate and are very pleasing to eyes as eyes always seek for nature.
