New Age Kitsch
Wikipedia refers to Kitsch as a ‘low-brow style of mass produces art or design using popular cultural icons.’ It is an accurate description, like most foreign translations, the essential meaning of this German word is lost somewhere between the translations. Although the kitsch style is very understated and casual style, it does not have a very elegant or sophisticated look. Individually, it is a style that may be used for those with a bit of an acquired taste.
