Fake Hardware Violators Will be Named And Shamed, Excel Hardware promises!
Recent scams about Excel Hardware replicas have been taking Singapore by storm, and now the company has announced that they’d be persecuting the illegal distributors.
On Jan 3rd, Director Kaden Choa declared that Excel Hardware Pte Ltd will make the identity of those who manufacture, distribute or install counterfeit Excel Hardware products such as fake stainless steel dish rack, fake pneumatic arm, fake soft close hinges public news. He said his company is working closely with Amarick Gill LLC to take legal action towards potential violators of the fraudulent activity.
“We will name and shame whoever is doing this,” was announced by the Director. Moreover, he addressed that the company was proceeding with the lawsuit hand-in-hand with all legal and serviceable distributors in the renovation community. Here’s what he said:
“This legal lawsuit is proceeding with the input of the distributor of the product, as well as carpentry workshops, renovation firms, architecture firms, developers and homeowners using Counterfeit Excel Hardware Products.”
Founded in 1998, Excel Hardware Pte Ltd is one of the leading supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware in Singapore and Malaysia. In early 2000s, there was a prominence of Replica Excel Furniture hardware in both Singapore and Malaysia.
Excel Hardware is known for their Lifetime Warranty. Thus, when victims of the counterfeit goods contacted the company for their defected hardware, they are devastated to find out that their carpentry firm or Renovation Company had unknowingly purchased the counterfeit instead of the authentic product and there is nothing much they can do.
In 2015, there were more than 460 Replica Excel Hardware’s dish racks found in Heron Bay Condominium. The developer was forced to replace all the replicas with the authentic Excel Hardware products.
Sky Tan, the Director of Sky Creation Asia, understood the woes of end consumers.
“As one of the market leader of the renovation industry in Singapore and Malaysia, we had informed all of our carpenters in Singapore and Malaysia to purchase Authentic Excel Hardware Products straight from the head office in Singapore and Malaysia,” he said.
Kaden Choa further emphasized, “Our business entity is Excel Hardware Pte Ltd in Singapore. All stakeholders can purchase Authentic Excel Hardware Products straight from all addresses listed on Excelhw.com.sg.”
The fake Excel Hardware Products were identified as being sold by Excel Furniture Hardware Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia Registered Company, located at No. 58 & 58A, Jalan Pinang 23, Taman Daya, 81100 Johor Bahru to various carpentry workshops and interior design firms in both Singapore and Malaysia.
