When most people hear the word ‘glamor’ they instantly think of flashy lights and gaudy materials, but that is not the case at all. In fact, you can be totally understated and elegant with your interior designs yet still emulate them with glamor. Want to know how to do that? We’ve compiled a few ideas for you to take inspiration from! Let’s take a look:

If there’s one thing that works wonders for effusing a space with glamor is the right use of textures. Marble textures are an excellent way to make a space look incredibly high-end. Similarly, understated wooden textures can also make a space look cozily inviting. You can also use concrete textures to make your spaces seem elegantly luxurious. Small doses of high-gloss laminates are also a great way to do make your spaces instantly statement-worthy.

2. Classy furniture

Out of all the things that make up an excellent interior design, smart furniture is the best to effuse a space with glamor. Luxuriously understated furniture is especially great that emulating this vibe. Suede and velvet upholstery has a very charismatic charm that translates quite well into a glamorous vibe. So you can easily glam up your space with just a statement sofa or a section instead of smaller pieces.

3. Recessed lighting

Recessed lighting in customised carpentry might be on the pricier side, but the end results are totally fabulous. The best part about this venture is that you can have the shelves designed as per your needs and your desired aesthetics. No matter how straightforward or even complicated they are, the lighting will be an elegant complement to them all.

4. Transparent study room wall

Transparency in and off itself is a totally glamorous element, but a classy study room can make it even more so. Imagine having an iconic view of your study desk from your living room – you’ll automatically feel officious. But if you just want to emulate a partial view, then that too is possible if you opt for something like bifold windows or half-walls.

5. Mirrors and glass

Mirrors and glass are shiny and reflective surfaces, so they tend to look absolutely glamorous when arranged in a nice formation. You can even go the extra mile and invest in a feature-length decorative mirror instead of opting for a typical dresser mirror in your bedrooms. This will help you articulate the glamor as well.
