There are a lot of things around the house that can be altered at a reasonably inexpensive way during the renovation. Some of these are an inherent part of our homes while the others require a bit of tweaking. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Breakfast bar for 2
If you’ve got a small home that cannot possibly support your dream of having a large breakfast bar, you don’t have to worry; here’s a great alternative. You can use the wall outside of your kitchen to design a stylish floating bar like the one featured in this image. It’s simple, sophisticated, and takes a minimal amount of space. You can spruce it up with some trendy bar stools as well.
2. Customized countertops
Customizing the countertops structurally can cost you a fortune, but only tweaking the façade is totally doable within a reasonable budget. You can personalize the whole thing by exchanging the countertops and pairing them up with gorgeous laminates and a backsplash. You can go for contrast and even use the appliances to spice up the whole ambiance.
3. Add a simple workspace
While large study rooms and home offices are not everyone’s forte, you can simply add a floating desk to your bedroom interiors for a cozy little working area. It’s okay to not have a large executive style monstrosity. Simple and sweet can work just as well. You can ornament the whole thing with pragmatic accessories, and add in some compartmentalized drawers for good measure.
4. Altered bathroom fixtures
If you’re tired of your boring old bathroom then exchanging a few things here and there can totally alter the face of it. These include all the fixtures, such as the taps and the sinks, etc. These elements may feel like they are small, but they do have a pretty heavy impact on the overall ambiance. You can totally feel the change they emulate once you alter them.
5. The vanity style
Just like the fixtures, the vanity is also something that you can alter the design of in order to spice up the ambiance. Since the plumbing points remain the same, you can just add some beautiful cladding or change the countertops to make a difference.
